2018 ASHBA Building Conference
The annual building conference and board meeting was held October 31, November 1st and 2nd the Embassy Suites Hotel in Anchorage and was attended by homebuilder members and non-members from across the state. This year featured NAHB National Area Chairman, Eugene Graf and NAHB staff members Felicia Watson and Rob Matuga. The conference was kicked off with the Meet & Greet Welcome Reception featuring a Wine Wall Raffle, which sold out. The two-day education schedule included classes and seminars with something for everyone in the building industry. The NAHB Gold Key Reception featured excellent food, including oysters and was enjoyed by all. The Installation Banquet with the State Build-PAC auction, Gun Wall Raffle and great band topped off a very successful conference; one that everyone will remember! Congratulations to Jim Dunlap, 2018 Builder of the Year and Brandon Snodgrass, 2018 Associate of the Year.
